At AM, being a Sales Technician doesn’t mean “just selling a vending machine.” It means building trust. Educating. Advising. Growing together. A key role in a company that chose a different way of working.
Since our founding, AM has adopted a different approach. We chose to work alongside Italian tobacconists not just as suppliers, but as partners. We know that those working behind the counter often face thousands of unclear messages, offers too good to be true, and “prepackaged” solutions that don’t always meet real needs.
That’s why we rely on Sales Technicians. The Sales Technician doesn’t enter a tobacconist’s shop aiming to close a deal at any cost but to ask questions, observe, listen. They don’t use pressure, fake discounts, or inflated trade-in values. They don’t promise miracles but offer concrete tools explained clearly. At AM, the Sales Technician is not a seller but a consultant.
A job built on two pillars: quality and ethics
Product Quality Every solution we offer comes from listening, testing, and continuous improvement. Our vending machines are designed to last, perform, and adapt. Every technical detail has a purpose: removable drawers, modular management, automatic energy saving, remote control via AM Club.
That’s why those who work with us must know well what they offer. The AM Sales Technician receives continuous, up-to-date, in-depth training: they don’t just list features but explain them and adapt them to the real needs of each tobacconist.
2. Work Ethics Our sector is full of shortcuts: inflated trade-in values to cover fake discounts, quotes that become orders without customer consent, promises tied only to tax incentives and not product value. We know these shortcuts and have rejected them. By choice.
Choosing AM means choosing transparency:
In quotes, explained point by point.
In selecting the most suitable model: not the biggest, but the right one.
In communication: clear, honest, direct.
For this reason, we look for people who share this vision.
What does an AM Sales Technician do?
Listens and observes Every client is different. Every tobacconist has unique dynamics, needs, and margins. The Sales Technician always starts with an analysis: the store, customer flow, available space, tobacconist habits.
Advises and supports Based on observations, they propose customized solutions focused on functionality. They also provide training on machine use, energy saving, payment methods, and opportunities offered by the AM Club portal.
Knows the products Each Sales Technician knows AM products inside out, as well as competitors’ weaknesses and strategies. Not to attack others but to clearly answer customer doubts. Because distinguishing real features from empty promises is part of the job.
Maintains relationships over time The customer relationship doesn’t end with the sale: it continues with support, assistance, and updates. Every tobacconist has a direct human contact for questions, doubts, and new needs.
Why work with AM?
Because you’re never alone. Each Sales Technician is supported by a solid company with over 25 years of experience, advanced analysis tools, and a technical team always available.
Because you don’t sell illusions. You sell real, measurable, reliable tools. When the customer thanks you months later for better management, lower bills, and better sales… you know you did a good job.
Because you are treated like a professional. You receive technical and commercial training, updated materials, access to sales statistics, and comparative charts.
Because you belong to a company that chose integrity. One that doesn’t only seek results but trust-based relationships. That doesn’t just “push” machines but builds solutions. That wants to grow with people, not at customers’ expense.
AM. The only company in the sector that chose a different path. In a market where many sell what suits them best, we offer what the customer truly needs. If that means selling less but selling better, for us it’s a success. Because real trust doesn’t need tricks.
